–Face to fade– is a duo performance developed in collaboration with Cesár Jose Gutierrez, that delves into the complexities of confrontation within the context of colonialism and decolonialism. It aims to explore the power dynamics present in confrontational situations, as well as the potential for communication, connection, and growth. Through physical praxis, related to dance, we investigate the ambivalence of touch, movement, and imagery and their meanings in different contexts. (2023)
–To My Roots, Unknown– is a research project rose out of the question of belonging. As a dancer and artist who has lived in Germany for several years due to her profession, the question arises: Where do I belong? Where do I feel most at home? Where can I do my work and live my life every day, or where do I come from? Where my family and home are, where I was born? In the few past years I have felt this inner struggle between the two places where I felt I belonged and I had the need to explore this question. I needed to embody it and express it. Since we have not been able to perform much on the theatre stage due to this pandemic, I wanted to use the time to experiment and explore this encounter between camera and dance. This is how the beautiful and stimulating collaboration with the video maker Mattia Nicolai came into play. (Founded 2022, Dachverband Tanz)
–Tapioca– is one physical interpretation that shows the state of inner fragilities when individuals are brought to look into themselves. This instrospection leads to discover how one can be at once a stranger and an accomplice of himself, at times having to fight with his different sides, at others melting them into one. It took form in Collaboration with Marianna Reynaudi and was presented in Malta, Munich and Belgrade. (2017)
